NFC Team Outlook: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

09 July 2015

Fantasy Focus

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers started their new regime with Head Coach Lovie Smith and new General Manager Jason Licht...badly. The team which was supposed to improve upon 2013’s 4-12 record but ended up losing two more games which helped them clinch the number one pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Highly coveted free-agent QB Josh McCown was a tremendous flop for Tampa which is why Jameis Winston was drafted to turn the franchise around. Tampa’s offense should be fun to watch with all the talent surrounding their quarterback.

Bradford was traded to the Eagles this offseason in a move that will significantly effect his fantasy prospects.

Free Agency Focus: QB Quandary

06 July 2015

We took a peek at some of the quarterbacks who found themselves in new uniforms this offseason and broke down what to expect from them. The class of QBs who changed teams isn’t too deep, but many QBs around the league will be affected by moves in free agency, which could greatly impact their QB fantasy football value.

Rookie Tight End Spotlight

We all know a tight end is a quarterback's best friend, so here are the top ranked rookie tight ends that can be fantasy football TE options now, or in the near future.

AFC Team Outlook: Miami Dolphins

03 July 2015

Fantasy Focus

The Dolphins continued their mediocre ways in 2014 with their second consecutive 8-8 season, even after a promising 5-3 start.  With the Tom Brady suspension looming, the Dolphins are looking to capitalize and make the postseason for the first time since 2008.

NFC Team Outlook: Minnesota Vikings

03 July 2015

Minnesota Vikings: There is a lot to like about the 2015 Minnesota Vikings’ offense. The long anticipated return of Adrian Peterson will make all the headlines and rightfully so. But there are other offensive players who could see big boosts in their stats by playing another year under offensive coordinator Norv Turner, who can be an offensive genius with the right set of players. Head coach Mike Zimmer is a defense-first guy, so Turner will be able to run his preferred style of an efficient passing game with a power run game. It will also be starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s first full sixteen game season. This offense will put up respectable numbers in the passing game and should be close to the top in rushing yardage.

RB Fantasy Football News

Rookie running backs are to fantasy football owners what presents are to kids at Christmas: New, exciting and hopefully something you play with for a while, but at times the interest wavers quickly. Here's an early look at five of the first-year back owners worth jumping for joy over, at least come draft time.

AFC Team Outlook: New England Patriots

27 June 2015

Fantasy Focus

The New England Patriots are coming off another Super Bowl winning season, their fourth since 2001.  After losing 41-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs in week four, the Patriots went on a seven game winning streak propelling them to 12-4 finish in 2014.  As the top seed in the AFC, the Patriots knocked off both Baltimore and Indianapolis on their way to their eighth Super Bowl appearance.  In Super Bowl XLIX, the Patriots took down the Seahawks by a score of 28-24 thanks in large part to Tom Brady and undrafted rookie cornerback, Malcolm Butler, who intercepted Russell Wilson on the Patriots goal line in the final seconds of the game to secure the victory.  Since then, they have stayed in sporting news for reasons both good and bad.
