Looking at this week’s fantasy leaderboards, it looks as though passing dominated during Week 8, as quarterbacks and pass catchers made up the bulk of the best performers and the entire Hot list for this week. Meanwhile, quite a few teams were affected by late injury scratches, mid-game injuries, and players who just did not show up. Let’s take a look at a few players who may have either saved or ruined your chances at winning with Week 8’s Hot and Not.
Arian Foster continues his frustrating streak of injuries with a season ending Achilles tendon tear that made headlines in sporting news. An upcoming Week 8-bye has many fantasy owners scrambling to find viable RB replacements for the fallen Foster. The Texans will also look for candidates to fill Foster’s shoes; even with a record of 2-5, the AFC South division is still open for the taking. However, with continued offensive struggles, what is the future for the Texans and the injury prone Foster?
