RB Matt Forte, Bears at Vikings – “The Machine” projection: 14.6

It’s been an interesting season for Matt Forte and his fantasy owners.  He’s missed three games due to a nagging knee injury and hasn’t rushed for more than 100 yards since Week 1.  However, Forte still ranks 13th in total scoring among fantasy running backs.  In Week 15, Forte and the Bears will travel to Minnesota to face the 8-5 Vikings.  The Vikings haven’t been particularly great at stopping the run this year.  They’re allowing 114.4 rushing yards per game, but have only surrendered seven touchdowns.  Forte isn’t necessarily a bad matchup, it’s just unclear how John Fox will use his running backs.  In Week 14, Forte was out carried by rookie, Jeremy Langford.

RB Javorius (Buck) Allen, Chiefs at Ravens – “The Machine” projection: 14.2

Since taking over the Baltimore backfield, Buck Allen has been pretty effective.  He’s accumulated more than 100 total yards in two of his last four games and scored two touchdowns.  He did, however, struggle in Week 14 against an elite Seattle Seahawks’ rushing defense.  Week 15 may be more difficult as the Ravens will play host to the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs.  Winners of seven straight, the Chiefs’ rushing defense is allowing just 92.2 yards per game and has surrendered six touchdowns.  It may be hard for the Ravens to get anything going on offense, as this weeks’ starting quarterback has yet to be named.

WR Odell Beckham Jr., Panthers at Giants – “The Machine” projection: 20.5

It’s extremely difficult to put Odell Beckham Jr. on the ‘Bust Watch’ list.  In Week 14, Beckham Jr. made fantasy news by hauling in seven receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns.  He currently leads the NFL in touchdown receptions with 12.  The only thing holding back Beckham Jr. in Week 15 is Panthers’ cornerback, Josh Norman.  Norman has been the NFL’s best cornerback this season.  In Week 14, he held Julio Jones to just 88 yards and no touchdowns.  If Norman cover Beckham Jr. all game, it may be tough for him to find the end zone.

TE Gary Barnidge, Browns at Seahawks – “The Machine” projection: 14.4

Gary Barnidge has been the bright spot in the Cleveland Browns’ fantasy updates since Week 1.  This season, he’s hauled in 65 passes for 901 yards and eight touchdowns.  Unfortunately, Barnidge and company have to go to Seattle in Week 15 to play the NFC’s hottest team.  The Seahawks have won four straight.  During that stretch, Russell Wilson has thrown 16 touchdown passes and zero interceptions.  The defense has come around as well.  They’ve surrendered just 13 combined points in the last two weeks.  In the last three weeks, the Seahawks’ defense has cracked down on tight ends.  They’ve surrendered a total of 76 yards and no touchdowns.  Since Manziel is still learning the position, it may be tough for Barnidge to find success.
