QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers at Vikings – “The Machine” projection: 24.0

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are trending in the wrong direction.  After making sporting news by starting 6-0, the Packers have dropped their last three games and now trail the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.  During the three game skid, the Packers’ offense has looked sluggish.  They’ve averaged just 18.3 points per game and a Packers’ receiver hasn’t eclipsed 100 yards receiving in a single game since week three.

Week 11 will be tough for Rodgers and company as they travel to Minneapolis to face the division leading Vikings.  The Vikings are 7-2 on the year thanks in large part to return of Adrian Peterson and the elite play from the defense.  The Vikings’ defense is allowing the least amount of points per game with 17.1.  They’ve allowed just 11 receiving touchdowns and have sacked the quarterback 21 times.

Hinder your expectations as Rodger’s offensive line will likely struggle again.

RB Darren McFadden, Cowboys at Dolphins – “The Machine” projection: 18.6

“The Machine” projects Darren McFadden to be the second highest scoring running back in week 11.  Since McFadden took over the starting job in Dallas, he’s been night and day.  He rushed for 152 yards against the New York Giants but just 32 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He'll face a generally poor run defense in the Miami Dolphins.  Despite giving up eight touchdowns on the ground, the return of Tony Romo will allow the Cowboys to open up their pass game. The other concern is a late wek appearance o the injury report.

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Jets at Texans – “The Machine” projection: 19.8

DeAndre Hopkins has come back down to earth after dominating fantasy updates to start the season.  He failed to haul in more than 100 receiving yards in his last two games but did find the end zone.  He currently ranks third in the NFL in total receiving yards.

The Texans will play host to the New York Jets in week 11.  This season, the Jets are allowing 246.7 receiving yards per game and have intercepted 15 passes.  Darrelle Revis will likely cover Hopkins for the majority of the game.  The All-Pro cornerback has already tallied three interceptions on the season.

Don’t be surprised if Hopkins has a decent game.  It’s hard to see him being the second highest scoring receiver, however.

TE Jordan Reed, Redskins at Panthers – “The Machine” projection: 15.2

Redskins’ Jordan Reed has been one of the best tight ends in the league this season and has appeared in several fantasy updates.  He’s hauled in 41 passes for 397 yards and the six touchdowns he’s scored rank him fourth in the NFL.  Last week, he managed to score on two of his three catches in a win against the Saints.

Reed and the Redskins will face the unbeaten Carolina Panthers in week 11.  The Panthers’ defense has been good against opposing tight ends this season.  They’ve surrendered just four touchdowns and are allowing, on average, 50 receiving yards.  Seeing as though Reed usually makes his living off of crossing the goal line, it could be a quiet week for him.
