QUARTERBACKS

Brock Purdy – SF – 7ppg – 7%

With injuries around the league at the QB position, Purdy is a great add, especially in 2QB leagues.

Mike White – NYJ – 16.7ppg – 15%

See above… and remember that the Jets play the Lions this week who are dead last against opposing QBs. Mike White is a must add if you are missing Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray.

RUNNING BACKS

Chubba Hubbard – CAR – 4ppg – 19%

Clearly the game plan this week for Carolina was to feature all the running backs. Hubbard had 17 touches, Foreman had 22, and Raheem Blackshear had 5 and did manage to get in the endzone. Hubbard has chemistry built up already with Sam Darnold, I believe he is a must add on this weeks waiver wire.

Pierre Strong – NE – 1.9ppg – 0%

Injuries to RB1 and RB2 in New England propelled Strong into action on Monday night and he did not disappoint. Strong carried the ball 5 times for 70 yards and a touchdown, he also secured 2 receptions for another 20 yards. If Damien Harris and/or Rhamondre Stevenson are forced to miss next week, Strong is a must add.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Amari Rodgers – HOU – 1.3ppg – 0%

The Packers cut ties with Rodgers a couple weeks ago and he landed in Houston. It appears after this week's performance that Rodgers might’ve just needed a change of scenery as he went for 4-57 and a touchdown, he also rushed one time for 3 yards. Rodgers for sure has the talent, and on an offense that will seemingly be throwing the ball a lot, he’s a great add.

TIGHT ENDS

Chigoziem Okonkwo – TEN – 4.3ppg – 4%

At the thinnest position in football, the rookie Okonkwo has been great over the last two weeks. He earned high praise from the Titans offensive coordinator and is seemingly very much involved in the Titans pass game. Look, this is a gut feeling, but the Titans always turn it on at the end of the season, grab Okonkwo this week!
