Multiple Projection Sources*

• It's like having multiple optimizers in one because you get a different DFS lineup from each source, plus a blend
• You also get estimated ownership per slate, which we are able to calculate because of our several projection sources
• By utilizing differing projection sources, you get meaningful natural player diversity so the need to artificially force diversity is reduced

Auto-Team Stacking

• Team stacking is a strategy used for gaining a higher probability to win higher payout contests, e.g., if a QB does well, then his receivers do well also, or when several batters on the same team each do well they collectively do even better by getting more at-bats and RBIs
• Select a team and how many players to stack from that team, giving your lineup greater upside potential
• Auto-team stacking is ASL’s unique feature that finds the team stack for each projection provider that results in the highest optimized DFS lineup result

Pro-Options

• You have many controls for setting team stacking, max and min exposure, ownership, and player diversity
• We have "hard" and "soft" settings - Hard settings set a specific goal & soft settings are bonus-based
• Soft bonus-based settings can be positive or negative and position-to-position
• For example, you can set a positive NBA team stacking bonus for C-to-F and a negative bonus for C-to-C
• You can also set min fantasy points, min difference of the number of players between any two lineups, and exclude players based on status or team

Multi-Lineup Generator

• Uses technology similar to that used for synthesizing computer chip logic to generate up to 150 lineups
• The algorithm starts with lineups that only use best-value players at each salary tier and then works on all lineups as a set making trade-offs between fantasy points, max and min exposure, diversity, team stacking and ownership, based on your pro-option settings
• You receive a log that shows the various stages of optimization as it aggressively attempts to meet all your requirements
• It iterates at each stage until it can't find any more improvements
• Gone are the dark ages of hard 3/2/2 team stacks; now you can control how much to trade off fantasy points versus team stacking to give you the best combination of lineups for winning

Cyclone & Stack-Attack Modes

• Generate much better lineup sets with Cyclone and Stack-Attack Mode
• Cyclone mode let's you build sets of lineups evenly distributed across the projection sources of your choice
• Stack-Attack Mode let's you build sets of lineups evenly distributed across projection sources and team stacks of your choice
• For example, you have have 5 projection sources and there are 10 teams in your slate, and you generate 150 lineups with Stack-Attack Mode, you will get 30 lineups from each projection provider and 15 lineups of each team stack.
• However, it uses the overall lineup set optimization, for exposure and diversity, so no two lineups are the same
• It incorporates "meaningful diversity" because player diversity comes by using different projection sources for sub-sets of lineups

Virtual Cloud of CPUs

• Our optimizer runs on Azure/Microsoft App Functions
• Azure/Microsoft App Functions are a virtual cloud of unlimited CPUs
• So when you run the optimizer, your requests are spread across an unlimited CPU server farm
• This is how we can generate multiple lineups so quickly and are able to offer auto-team stacking

Single Lineup Strategy

• The single lineup strategy is the most conservative strategy for growing bank roll with the lowest risk
• We call our single lineup strategy "Snipe the Shotgun", were you play your best lineup in contests with maximum lineup diversity
• We describe sport-specific strategy nuances such as for team-stacking
• You see how to implement this strategy with our tools, such as Cyclone Mode and the team-stacking bonus Pro-Option
• We most recently tested "Snipe the Shotgun" and achieved a 70% return over fees*

Natural Diversity Strategy

• Natural Diversity is a balanced strategy where you build multiple lineups, but only up to the point where diversity happens naturally
• Specifically, you find the point where making more lineups no longer causes the use of more players
• Thus, we don't force diversity, but let the optimizer give us feedback as to where it can no longer build the most competitive lineups and use more players
• Cyclone mode can be used with natural diversity to create greater meaningful diversity
• We quintupled our bankroll in 3 months the 2020 NFL season, using this strategy along with good bankroll management and careful contest selection*

Max Lineups Strategy

• The most aggressive strategy is to enter the max number of lineups in a contest, up to 150 lineups
• The goal is to get at least 1 or 2 lineups to rank very near the top of the contest to get a big payout, far more than compensating for the entry fees of the lineups that don't win
• The more lineups you enter, the more likely that one of your lineups will come in first place
• While this isn't our recommended strategy for most, we provide Stack Attack Mode to help you get a the best possible spread of diversity and team stacks, to give you the best chance of landing a lineup near the top of the pack
• This strategy using our Stack Attack technology has won the Milly Maker twice* (that we know of)

Bankroll Management

• We are big on bankroll management and playing responsibly and encourage you to view Daily Fantasy Sports as entertainment, not a push-button money machine
• Set a budget, per sports season or per month, that is consistent with other life priorities
• We recommend to use between 10 to 30% of your bankroll on any day to go through a 3-month period
• Start small, refine your skills, and if you are winning your bankroll grows
• If you are learning how to play, be disciplined about following rules for managing bankroll so your are assured that your deposit lasts a long time
• Our article "A Winning Mindset" on the left of the website gives useful suggestions
• In this way, DFS is more fun, family-friendly, and you maintain the upside of the potential for a big win a lot longer

Viewer/Editor

• When you generate multiple lineups, they appear in our powerful multi-lineup viewer/editor and are saved in our database.
• You can pull them up later in the day, after a contest has started so you adjust for the later games right before they start.
• You can edit one lineup at a time, or all lineups at once with the following features:
• Lock/Unlock Player: Toggle the player locks. Players that have already played are automatically locked* so they won't be changed by reoptimization. You can control the rest of the players directly.
• Substitute Player: When you do a global player substitution a pop-up shows how many lineups contain that player, what players you can select as replacements, and the number of lineups the each possible replacement can be inserted into based on contest rules.
• Exclude Player: You can exclude players you want to take out of the lineup and let the reoptimizer fill them in.
• Remove Out Players: In case you are in a hurry, the editor can quickly remove all players with an out status.

Reoptimizer

• Our reoptimizer has three modes of operation:
• Fill Empty Slots: When you just want a light touch-up, remove the players you don't want, then use this feature to let the optimizer find the best replacements.
• Reoptimize Lineups: This is a heavy-duty reoptimize, which will recalculate the best players for all players that have not played yet and are not locked.
• Quickly Replace Out Players: This feature is handy when you need to replace players quickly because their status changed shortly before the start of a game.
• When you are done editing or reoptimizing, click Write Out Lineups to create the CSV to upload.

Auto-Reoptimize*

• Automatically get new lineups right before the later games start.
• You configure the auto-reoptimize rules, how new lineups should be sent to you, how soon before each game, etc.
• We automatically reoptimize your lineups based on your configuration, and send you the new ones in CSV format, ready for upload.
