Today, Advanced Sports Logic, Inc. (ASL), the leading innovator in fantasy sports automation, announced that they are extending their partnership with Sharks Fantasy Sports, LLC, a premier provider of fantasy football analysis and player projections.
Sharks Fantasy Sports, LLC (aka FantasySharks.com) will continue to provide industry-leading NFL player injury projections for integration with ASL’s fantasy football tools. In addition, FantasySharks.com will start to provide player commentary and up-to-date detailed player injury data to enhance the quality and value of Advanced Sports Logic’s products.
Tony Holm, President of FantasySharks.com said, “We have been providing ASL with player projections since 2011. Year over year, we have provided a deeper and broader statistical offering for their consumption as ASL's needs have continued to grow. ASL has the most comprehensive requirements for projections we have ever seen and we're proud to have been able to meet their needs. Answering ASL’s challenges have pushed us to be the first company to provide NFL player projections twelve months a year; which include current year and two-year dynasty projections, individual defensive player projections, and projecting each week individually for all weeks of the NFL season. We are continually amazed by the product richness of The Machine by ASL and are pleased to have our projections and content distributed to fantasy football players in Yahoo, ESPN, CBS Sports, MyFantasyLeague and RealTime Fantasy Sports hosted leagues through ASL.”
Leonard LaPadula, CEO of Advanced Sports Logic, said, “Last year our base projection provider stopped delivering on March 12 leaving us in a terrible situation with our dynasty product that we had just launched. FantasySharks.com was already providing projections to ASL, USA Today and others, but the projections they provided were a subset of our full requirements. We could find no other readily available source for what we needed and Tony offered to have FantasySharks.com step up to the challenge. We got the best of both worlds with FantasySharks.com, which has 45 sports analysts, a deep automation philosophy and statistics expertise. Within a short time, FantasySharks.com put together a system that begins with automation but also blends input from their fantasy football experts. Over time, this system has continually improved, and we are quite pleased with the quality of the projections we are seeing in 2014. The addition of player commentary, injury status and recovery projections will continue to increase the richness and value of our product offerings."
