QB Eli Manning, Patriots at Giants – “The Machine” projection: 20.1

Eli Manning has been very effective this season. He’s thrown 19 touchdown passes as opposed to just six interceptions. His Giants (5-4) sit alone atop the NFC East. Unfortunately, the Giants will face their toughest test of the season as they play host to the New England Patriots. Despite losing both Darrelle Revis and Vince Wilfork, the Patriots are undefeated and have the eighth best defense in the NFL. After throwing two picks against the Buccaneers, it’s hard to see Manning performing as the tenth best quarterback this week.

RB Charcandrick West, Chiefs at Broncos – “The Machine” projection: 14.1

In his last two games, Charcandrick West has been mighty impressive and has made fantasy news headlines. Collectively, he’s rushed for 207 yards and scored two touchdowns. This against an atrocious Lions defense and a mediocre Steelers defense. Week 10 will be a little different for West. He’ll face the leagues best defense in the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are surrendering just 93.1 rushing yards per game and have given up just six rushing touchdowns. Since Manning and the offense have started to heat up, it’s likely the Chiefs will play from behind early.

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Texans at Bengals – “The Machine” projection: 20.3

DeAndre Hopkins has been the lone bright spot in a forgettable season for the Texans. He’s on pace to achieve more than 1,600 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Week 10 will be a little more difficult as he’ll face the unbeaten Cincinnati Bengals. While the Bengals aren’t elite on defense, they’ve intercepted eight passes on the year. Projecting Hopkins to be the fourth highest receiver just seems like a reach.

TE Martellus Bennett, Bears at Rams – “The Machine” projection: 13.7

Chicago Bears’ tight end, Martellus Bennett isn’t having his best season. The six-foot-eight-inch target hasn’t reached the century mark in receiving yards in a single game and has only caught three touchdown passes. In week 10, Bennett and the Bears will travel to St. Louis to play the Rams. The Rams have given up a league low five touchdown passes and have sacked the quarterback 27 times. Jay Cutler will have to get rid of the ball early if he and Bennett want to achieve success.
