After dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of the second half of the preseason, Evans returned to practice earlier today, which is a good indication that he’ll be suited up for the first game of the year.

Though the second-year wideout reportedly feels ready to go, he is listed as questionable and should be approached cautiously by fantasy owners come game-day morning. His matchup, a shaky Titans secondary, will undoubtedly make Evans a high upside fantasy play, but Tampa kicks off at 4:25 ET; that’s in the second wave of games.  Be sure to check back for fantasy news as he will be a fantasy focus point this week.

Fantasy footballers should look to start Evans in their flex spots, and be careful to make precautions to back him up. Whether it be from the bench or the waiver wire, make sure to find a suitable replacement –who plays in the later time-slots–  in case he’s a no-go.

The reward owners may get from Evans this week well outweighs the risk of putting him in the lineup, even if he becomes a game-time decision.
