The Machine – Fantasy Football 2014: League Support Details and Limitations

The Machine and Trade Judge are designed to support a wide range of league configurations and rules. However, even The Machine and Trade Judge have their limitations, so to avoid unsatisfactory results, please read this page carefully. Also, please review details on System Requirements to ensure The Machine and Trade Judge will run on your devices.

Supported League Provider Integrations

The Machine and Trade Judge are integrated with CBS Sports, ESPN, MyFantasyLeague, RealTimeFantasy Sports and Yahoo! We also support The Machine in manual mode. In order to use The Machine with other league providers in manual mode, you will need to enter and maintain all league rules, configurations, and current roster information, manually through the League Setup pages.

NOTE: Maintaining this information takes time each week, especially to keep rosters for all teams current and to enter in weekly results. We recommend that you only purchase The Machine for manual mode usage if you are willing to maintain this type of information.

The Machine has no specific limitations for maximum number of teams, divisions, roster size or starting lineup. However, the greater the number of teams, roster size and starting line, the greater the number of computations. In average leagues, we have not seen an issue running The Machine fast enough to support a 90-second draft. However, if your league has 40 teams and a 28-player starting lineup requirement, The Machine will unlikely run fast enough to support a 90-second draft unless you have a high-powered system.

The Machine supports the following League Rules and Configurations:

  • Multi-header weeks
  • Winner or playoff seeding based on: win percentage, fantasy points or victory points
  • Offensive Player Positions: quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, punter, kicker
  • Defense and Special Teams: combined or separate
  • Individual Defensive Players: defensive tackle, defensive end, linebacker, corner back, safety

  • Coach and Team Offense
